PAMPORE: Jammu and Kashmir Police organised a Tiranga rally under ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ campaign at Saffron Town Pampore area of south Kashmir’s police district Awantipora on Saturday.
The rally was led by SDPO Pampore Mir Imtiyaz Ahmad along with SHO Pampore Adil Ashraf and Inspector Akash of 185 Bn.
A number of police personnels and CRPF personnels of 185 Bn and 110 Bn participated in the rally.
SDPO Pampore Mir Imtiyaz distributed national flags among the participants.
The rally was started from police station Pampore to the local markets including Kadlabal, Drangbal, Khrew Chowk and Namblabal Pampore to motivate local public to celebrate the “Har Ghar Tiranga Program” event under Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav.
The Police officials and police personnel and CRPF personnels amid slogans of ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’, ‘Ghar Ghar Tiranga’, ‘Bharat Mata Ki Jai’ with tricolours in their hand, marched in the different areas of Saffron Town Pampore celebrating the country’s Azadi ka Amrut Mahotsav.
As a part of this campaign, a special Tiranga Rally comprising dozens of motor bikes of Police personnel was taken out today from Police station Pampore to different areas of the Saffron Town, SDPO Pampore Mir Imtiyaz Ahmad told Kashmir Reader.
