Bandipora police organises cultural programme as a part of ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ Campaign

Bandipora: Bandipora police today organised a cultural programme as a part of “Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav” and “Har Ghar Tiranga Campaign” at Space Age Model Higher Secondary School Kaloosa Bandipora to encourage the students to hoist the National flag at their respective homes to mark the 76th year of India’s Independence and promote the spirit of nationalism.
On this occasion Additional Superintendent of police Bandipora Ashiq Hussain Tak JKPS was the chief guest. The event was attended by DYSP HQRS Bandipora Shafat Mohamad, DYSP DAR Bandipora Ishfaq Alam and other officers of police, civil administration, management of Space Age Model Higher Secondary School and students.
On this occasion the students presented different cultural items showcasing patriotic themes.
ASP Bandipora in his address to the students encouraged them to hoist the National flag at their homes and inculcate in them a sense of nationalism and love for their country. He further said that this freedom has been achieved after great sacrifice and hardships faced by our freedom fighters and we have to take a lead in order to take our country even more stronger.
At the end of cultural programme a prize distribution ceremony was held and prizes/appreciation certificates were distributed among the winners and participants.The event was also addressed by other officers and students.
