SRINAGAR: Downtown Elite Club comfortably beat Konibal Strikers by 58 runs in their league match of ongoing cricket tournament played at Konibal Pampore.
Batting first after winning the toss Downtown Elite Club set a paltry target of 114 runs for Konibal Strikers. Chasing a moderate total of 114 runs KONIBAL Strikers were never in the hunt as they lost wickets in quick succession and the entire team was bundled out for 56 runs.None of their batsman was able to reach into double figure.
Chief Guest Sarfaraz Rashid was the chief gust on the prize distribution ceremony and gave away the Man of the match award.
