Jammu: A felicitation function was organised by the Government High School Katal Batal Education Zone Dansal Jammu here today. The children who excelled in the secondary school examination who got above 70% marks were felicitated
Shameem Begum DDC Dansal was the chief Guest wheras Headmistress HS Katal Batal Niaz Kousar presided over the programme.
The Programme was attended by the students, parents and staff members of the school. Speaking on the occasion the chief Guest Shameem Begum laid thrust on the need for quality famale education in the area and extended full cooperation on the behalf of the parents. The chief Guest present gifts and commendation certificates to the children who excelled in class X.
In her address, DDC Dansal congratulated the children and presented a commendation certificates to the children. The headmistress of the school reiterated for the commitment of the school for extending quality education to the children belonging to the disadvantaged sections of the society. She said that our institution is committed to the curricular and non curricular aspects and is keen to hone the skills of the children and exhibiting the talent of the children in all walks of life. She congratulated the parents and children and added that our meritorious children are the inspiration for the other posterity in the school. She said that learning in a threefold process society has to play a major role in shaping the career of the children. The proceedings of the function was carried out by the Sadaket Ali Malik I/C Cultural Cell of the school.
