JK Yateem Foundation spends over Rs 47 lakh in June

Srinagar: J&K Yateem Foundation (JKYF) expended over Rs 47 Lakh while reaching out to 6906 deserving & needy families during the month of June. This also includes 769 widow headed families, 47 girl students and 35 brides across Jammu & Kashmir.
These details of expenditure were presented in the progress reports of their respective districts of J&K in the monthly meeting of district representatives and programme executives, held at Baitul Hilal Jawahar Nagar here.
The meeting was presided over by Chairman JKYF Mohammad Rafiq Lone and the participants presented detailed account of the work done in the previous month.
The Chairman said that over 6000 patients and their attendants availed the services at two Pantry Points at SHMS hospital and JKYF’s Al Hilal Diagnostic Centre near Aaweren, The Bund Karan Nagar in Srinagar.
He said that the Centre has both Laboratory as well as USG facility where any patient could avail 50 to 70 percent concession on almost all diagnostic procedures.
Mr Lone while extending gratitude to all the contributors, donors and well wishers for their continuing support to JKYF, also applauded the relentless, sincere and professional hardwork of all volunteers across Jammu & Kashmir in the interest of the humanitarian cause.
He urged all volunteers to continue the missionary work with zeal & zest to reach out to needy, poor, deserving and destitute irrespective of caste, colour, creed, region and religion
The Chairman acknowledged that the volunteers were leaving no stone unturned to reach out to the deserving, poor and needy as per the mandate of JKYF.
