KATRA: An awareness programme regarding legal services and provision of Health care and Medical services available for mentally ill and disabled persons was organised at Community Health Centre Katra here today under the Chairpersonship of (Sub judge) ( Chairperson Tehsil Legal Services Committee Katra).
On the occasion, Dr. Gopal Dutt Block Medical Officer Katra enlightened participants regarding various types of Mental disorders and their prevention.
Advocate Raj Kumar of Tehsil Legal Services Committee Katra briefed on the legal services available for mentally ill and disabled persons including their legal rights.
Dr. Disha, MLHP HWC Dhanori threw light on Mental Health problem and Dr. Komal, MLHP HWC Akhli shed light on National Mental Health program, State Mental Health program and Distt. Mental Health program.
Dr. Sumera Khan, MLHP Health & Wellness centre Sarna hosted the program.
Others who participated in the program were Doctors, Paramedical staff, MLHP, ASHA workers, paralegal volunteers, staff members of tehsil legal services committee Katra.
