PAMPORE: Kakapora Legends beat Royal Strikers Pampore by 39 run in the final match of Ramzan T-20 cup played at sports stadium Samboora Pampore on Saturday.
Batting first, Kakapora Legends put a formidable total of 194 runs on the board.
In reply, Royal Strikers Pampore overhauled the target of 155 runs in 19.2 overs.
Yawar for his all-round performance was declared man of match while Basit walked away with man of the tournament award for his outstanding performance throughout the tournament .He took 12 wickets and scored 180 runs.
SDPO Pampore, Mir Imtiyaz Ahmad was the Chief Guest on the closing ceremony and SHO Pampore Adil Ashraf was the guest of honour.
The winning team along with the runner-up team received trophies and prize cash from the chief guest.
SDPO Pampore Mir Imtiyaz Ahmad congratulated both participanting teams and organisers of the tournament for organising the tournament. He assured them of all possible support from J&K police.
Around 32 teams participated in three months long tournament.
