Weeklong FDP concludes at BGSBU

Srinagar: One week Faculty Development Programme on Emerging Trends in Teaching, Learning and Research concluded at Baba Ghulam Shah Badshah University, Rajouri. The FDP was organized by the Centre for Hospitality and Tourism.
Prof.Akbar Masood, Vice-Chancellor of the University congratulated the Centre on the successful completion of the FDP. Prof. Akbar motivated the participants to use FDP learning in teaching and research to make it a success. In his message, Prof. Akbar exhorted the participant to adopt the latest means and methods to impart world-class quality education to the students. Prof.Akbar highlighted
the transforming role of a teacher in contemporary times. The Vice-Chancellor advised the participants to learn and adopt the technological advances to align with the current global demands.
Prof. Akbar mentioned that BGSBU has earned the distinction of conducting a maximum number of webinars, workshops and FDPs during and after the covid-19 pandemic.
Dr Danish Iqbal, Deputy Director Centre for Hospitality and Tourism presented the report of the FDP. Dr Raina thanked the guest speakers and participants for making the FDP a successful learning experience. 150 participants from different Colleges and Universities across the country participated in the FDP.
