PAMPORE: Zubair Ahmad (KAS) assumed charge as Tehsildar Pampore on Wednesday at Tehsil office Pampore area of south Kashmir’s Pulwama district.
The outgoing Tehsildar Ishtiyaq Mohi-ud-Din (KAS) handed him the charge after formal hand over take over in presence of Additional Deputy Commissioner Awantipora Zaffar Husson Shawl, Tehsildar Awantipora Shakeel Ahmad, Naib Tehsildar Pampore Javaid Ahmad, Tehsil official Mir Murawat Hussain, Patwar Association district President Pulwama G.M and other officials of revenue department, officials told Kashmir Reader.
Local residents of Pampore hoped that Zubair Ahmad will fill in the shoes of Ishtiyaq Mohi-ud-Din and immulate his pro people attitude.
” It is very difficult to follow his standard of excellence, his approach of governance, his approach of administration is rarely seen and I am very fortunate to be his successor, I will be learning a number of things from his office, ” he said.
After assuming the charge, Tehsildar Pampore Zubair Ahmad (KAS) interacted with revenue officials at Tehsil office Pampore.
He also said that he will work dedication and carry forward Ishtiyaq Mohi-ud-Din’s pro people attitude.
