Verinag: Govt. Model Cluster School Verinag Celebrated World Labour Day with verve and zest at school premises. Ghulam Mohammad Vice President Municipal Committee Doru Verinag was the chief guest on the occasion. The celebrations were kicked off with the welcoming of the workers and acknowledgement of their hard work to make this institution a harmonious place to work and learn from each other.
A special assembly was prepared by the students to highlight the importance of the rights of labourers, especially in the Indian context.
After watching the celebrations, Workers were overwhelmed after watching the function and expressed their gratitude towards the school management, teachers and students for their endeavour.
Ghulam Mohammad Vice President Municipal Committee Doru Verinag while addressing the august gathering congratulated the workers and thanked them for their selfless services and focused on the priceless contribution of the workers for the smooth functioning of the institution. Management of the school conveyed their gratitude towards the entire workforce of the school.
Further a felicitation programme was organised in which parents of the students were felicitated for their Exemplary contribution to the nation and Society.
