Six bakery shops in Pampore for following unhygienic practices

PAMPORE: Deputy commissioner Pulwama Baseer-Ul-Haq Choudhary along with SSP Awantipora Mohammad Yousuf finalised Eid arrangements in a meeting held at Additional Deputy Commissioner office in Awantipora area of South Kashmir’s Pulwama district on Sunday.
Additional Deputy Commissioner Awantipora Zaffar Husson Shawl, Additional Deputy Commissioner Tral Shabir Ahmad Raina SDPO Pampore Mir Imtiyaz Ahmad, SDPO Awantipora, SDPO Tral, Tehsildar Pampore Ishtiyaq Mohi-ud-Din and Tehsildar Awantipora were present in the meeting, officials told Kashmir Reader.
During the meeting the Deputy Commissioner Pulwama Baseer-Ul-Haq Choudhary enquired from concerned officials about availability of various facilities including water, electricity and cleanliness of important places.
Later on Deputy Commissioner Pulwama Baseer-Ul-Haq Choudhary SSP Awantipora Mohammad Yousuf, along with Additional Deputy Commissioner Awantipora Zaffar Husson Shawl, SDPO Pampore Mir Imtiyaz Ahmad, Tehsildar Pampore Ishtiyaq Mohi-ud-Din, Tehsildar Awantipora, SHO Pampore Adil Ashraf, SHO Awantipora Mohammad Younis Khan and other concerned officials carried out market checking during which they inspected various shops in Awantipora town and Pampore town where they checked rates of different items including food items like meat, bread and vegetables.
The officers also visited Eid Gah in Awantipora and Pampore and took a review of cleanliness and other facilities.
The Deputy Commissioner Pulwama Baseer-Ul-Haq Choudhary instructed to seal six bakery shops in Kadlabal and Drangbal in the saffron town Pampore for encroaching roads by erecting stalls of food items.
The food items including cakes and bread items were kept on stalls without proper covering and thus exposed to dust and dirt.
Deputy Commissioner Pulwama Baseer-Ul-Haq Choudhary told Kashmir Reader that the meeting was held to discuss Eid arrangements.
” We want to ensure that all basic facilities are made available to the general public and review arrangements made to devotees in different mosques so that they face no problem and offer Eid prayers in a smooth wat” he said, adding that people shop enmass on the occasion of Eid.
