IGNOU awardees receives compliments from LG Manoj Sinha

Srinagar: Director, IGNOU Regional Centre Srinagar Dr. Kamlesh Meena extended his sincere thanks, gratitude and felt matter of great pleasure for IGNOU Regional Centre Srinagar as well as awardees of 35th Convocation of IGNOU Jammu & Kashmir by receiving special greetings on this auspicious day the greeting message will enlighten us to work more effectively, dedicatedly, honestly and sincerely in Jammu & Kashmir for carrying out the mandate of World’s Largest Distance Open University, Indira Gandhi National Open University, IGNOU Regional Centre Srinagar. Dr. Meena said the greeting and wishes of Lt. Governor Sahab itself are inspirational, blissful and complimented.
Lieutenant Governor J&K (UT) Shri Manoj Sinha expressed happiness over the 35th Convocation ceremony of Regional Centre Srinagar. The Hon’ble Lieutenant Governor J&K (UT) Shri Manoj Sinha quoted his views that “The government is according high priority to the Education sector. I hope that regional Centre IGNOU Srinagar would continue to reach out to the student community across the valley through Learner Support Centres, and explore all possibilities to provide quality education to the students”.
On the auspicious day of 35th convocation ceremony of Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU), which was celebrated on 26th April 2022, the main function was celebrated at IGNOU, Hqrs New Delhi and nationally simultaneous celebration of 35th convocation ceremony celebrated by 32 Regional Centres of Indira Gandhi National Open University across the country. IGNOU Regional Centre Srinagar celebrated its convocation ceremony at Tagore Hall Srinagar Kashmir. The function was attended by Guest of Honour Director, NIT Srinagar Prof. Rakesh Sehgal and Chief Speaker Director General, IMPARD Shri Saurabh Bhagat Senior IAS.
On the 35th Convocation ceremony Regional Director Dr. Kamlesh Meena presented the achievement and Progress report of RC Srinagar, before presiding over the ceremony Dr. Meena read the greeting message sent by Hon’ble Lieutenant Governor J&K (UT) Shri Manoj Sinha for the IGNOU awardees of Jammu & Kashmir (UT) on 35th convocation. The Hon’ble Governor greeted the total number of 25150 awardees, besides the Hon’ble Lieutenant Governor greeted one of our learner Niyaz Ahmad Yatoo who bagged Gold Medal in Master in Anthropology (MAAN) enrolled through Regional Centre Srinagar. The Hon’ble Governor extended his best wishes to the parents and family members of Gold Medalist, other awardees, Regional Director IGNOU Srinagar, faculty members, students and everyone associated with the institution for organizing of 35th convocation.
