Srinagar: Director Health Services Kashmir (DHSK), Dr Mushtaq Ahmad Rather on Thursday evening many hospitals of Baramulla district and took stock of the health care facilities.
The director visited PHC Boniyar, PHC Uri and PHC Sheeri Baramulla. During the visit, he was accompanied by Deputy Director Health Services Kashmir, Chief Medical Officer (CMO) Baramulla besides other local officers and officials.
At Boniyar hospital, he took a review of all the healthcare facilities being provided to patients and also interacted with healthcare workers.
The director also visited all the sections of the Uri hospital including OPD, wards and also interacted with patients.
During the visit, a public delegation called on the director and demanded improvements in health care services for better patient care.
The director gave them a patient hearing and assured them that all the issues will be resolved in due course of time. He also said that the directorate is committed to providing hassle-free health care facilities to all levels.
