SMC organises workshop for ZRPs in Srinagar

Srinagar: Srinagar Municipal Corporation organises a five day workshop in collaboration with Premji Azim Foundation for all the Zonal Resource Persons of Srinagar City.
After signing of MoU between SMC and Premji Azim Foundation &Praja Foundation that aims to empower citizen participation through enhanced e-Governance system in Srinagar & capacity building programmes municipal councilors & administration and to enhance education system , Azim premji foundation in collaboration with SMC today organised 5 day workshop for Capacity of Building of all Zonal Resource Persons of Srinagar City .
Commissioner SMC Athar Amir Khan who was the Chief Guest on the occassion formally inaugurated the five day workshop and said this training session is imperative and will strive towards improving the education scenario in all SMC’s Schools and continuous professional development of teachers & administrative leadership.
Commissioner on the occasion said that all the ZRP’s must derive maximum benefits from this five day training session to pass on the educative skills to the people so that they can further develop and shape up their personality.
Joint Commissioner Adm Syed Abul Qasim while formally welcoming the gathering opened up the introductory session .

Understanding the meaning of education from different perspectives/ different school of thoughts / educational thinkers.
The other representatives of Azim Premji Foundation who gave lectures on the occassion were Vikas Chandra Roy, Ms Jwaria Saleem and Mr Ti Rang Rang Sanamie.
Secretary SMC Mudasir Hussain Famda on the occassion said this training session will be highly beneficial and will transform urban governance and primary education in Srinagar.
