Tehsildar Pampore organise mega Awami Darbar at Khrew

PAMPORE: A mega Awami Darbar under the supervision of Tehsildar Pampore Ishtiyaq Mohi-ud-Din at Khrew area of Pampore in south Kashmir’s Pulwama district on Wednesday.
Large number of people from various villages along with their delegations, prominent civil society and Auqaf members participated in the day long Awami Darbar.
Peer Mohammad Ashraf delivered a welcome address even as highlighted various issues pertaining to the public to which the visiting officer assured of early redressal.
The delegation from Khrew, Shar Shali, Zantrag, Bathina, Nagandar and other adjoining villages raised the issue of Pollution of cement factories, electricity , water supply, Up-gradation of schools, PHC Khrew, Sumo Stand, Horticulture, Agricultural, maintenance of play ground ,replacement of electric poles, roads and other issues, locals told Kashmir Reader.
After people highlighted many issues, the Tehsildar Pampore gave on the spot directions to concerned officers to redress the pending issues.
Among others the public darbar was attended by the Revenue department, ZEO Pampore Mushtaq Ahmad, Executive Officer Munciple Committee Khrew, Doctors, Sheep and husbandry officer, AEE PHE, AEE PDD and other officials.
Locals of the area hailed the effort of Tehsildar Pampore Ishtiyaq Mohi-ud-Din and his team for organising .
The Awami Darbar was held on the direction of Deputy Commissioner Pulwama Baseer-Ul-Haq Choudhary, during the day long Awami Darbar Tehsildar Pampore Ishtiyaq Mohi-ud-Din listen various issues hundreds of people and Domicile Certificates during the Darbar organised by Tehsil office Pampore under the supervision of Tehsildar Pampre Ishtiyaq Mohi-ud-Din officials told Kashmir Reader.
Tehsildar Pampore organised a cleanliness drive of Springs in Khrew.
Municipal Committee Khrew Executive Officer and Volunteers of Go Green Pampore led by Advocate Nadeem Qadri part of the drive.
A Plantation drive also held near JK Cements Factory Khrew with assistance of Go Green Pampore Volunteers,
Plantation Drive was carried out at Khrew by a team led by Tehsildar Pampore. The drive was carried out near JK Cements Factory Khrew with assistance of the Social Forestry Department, Go Green Pampore and Go Green Khrew Volunteers, officials told Kashmir Reader.
Talking to Kashmir Reader at Khrew Tehsildar Pampore Ishtiyaq Mohi-ud-Din said today a public darbaar was organised at Khrew, officers from all departments were present and a large number of people took part in the darbaar,”.
He added that people from Khrew and other areas raised various issues in the darbaar mostly public issues including the issue of pollution caused by cement, issue of parking for trucks, issue related to municipality, Sumo stand and hospital.
He added that they have noted down the issues and assured them that the will follow them.
He said that they have established stalls for registration of Golden Cards and E-Shram cards.
He added that they were going to organize a plantation drive and other things.
He also carries out a cleanliness drives of Khrew Springs with assistance of Municipality Khrew and Volunteers of Go Green Pampore and Go Green Khrew.
The purpose of the drive was to convey a message to the residents of the area that they should work towards preservation of these precious water bodies and keep them clean.
Tehsildar Pampore also organises on the Spot Essay Writing Competition at Govt Girls Higher Secondary School Khrew. The students were asked to write essay on the topic Environment vs Growth, that is very relevant to the prevailing situation of the Khrew area where people have complaining about the pollution related problems arising because of presence of Cement Factories in the area. On the Spot evaluation was carried out and top five Students were felicitated, Tehsildar said.
