SRINAGAR: MLA Bhopal Arif Masood gave a cash reward of Rs 5000 to Sadia Tariq at Bhopal earlier this week.
Sadia was in Bhopal to appear in the Wushu trial for the upcoming youth Asian games event.
Earlier, on reaching Bhopal she was accorded warm welcome at Bhopal Airport.
Indian Wushu player Sadia Tariq has won a gold medal at a junior tournament held in Moscow.
The 15-year-old from Srinagar has been a gold medallist in the junior national championship for the last two years.
