PAMPORE: Syed Mukhtar Ahmed, Sadar Qanoongo posted at the office of Deputy Commissioner Pulwama died of heart attack at SMHS Hospital Srinagar on Monday.
Mukhtar suffered a heart attack on Monday morning when he was on the way to the office.
He was immediately shifted to district hospital Pulwama where from he referred to SMHS Srinagar.
Tehsildar Pampore Ishtiyaq Mohi-ud-Din confirmed to Kashmir Reader the death of Syed Mukhtar Ahmad due to heart attack in Pulwama when he was on the way to his office.
Syed Mukhtar was a resident of Dusoo Pampore.
His colleagues remember him as a dedicated employee of the revenue department who always performed his duty with punctuality.

Deputy Commissioner Pulwama also offered his deepest condolences to the bereaved family and prayed for eternal peace to the departed soul and courage for the bereaved family to bear the loss.
Tehsildar Pampore Ishtiyaq Mohi-ud-Din, Naib Tehsildar Pampore Bashir Ahmad, Naib Tehsildar Khrew Mohammad Ameen, Tehsil official Mir Murwat Hussian, DC Pulwama office officials, employees, Tehsil office Pampore staff, Patwaris, field staff and All J&K Patwar Association, All J&K Nambardar Association expressed deep shock and grief over the death of Syed Mukhtar Ahmad.
In their condolence message, officials of the revenue department termed the deceased as a noble soul and a dedicated employee of revenue department Pulwama.
