SRINAGAR: Five day Snow Sqay training camp held at Gulmarg Ice Rinke concludes on Friday.
Athletes from different states of the country participated. The Snow Sqay event was introduced by International Council of Sqay (world governing body of Sqay ) with the motto to add a new feather in the winter sports around the world.
The athletes have shown a positive approach & enthusiasm in this snow event .
The professional trainers of Sqay family were involved in training the participants in a very cordial manner and healthy discussions were held after each coaching session.
A new dimension was added to this sport for involving more & more youth for the development of the sports culture in winters among the youth.
The training camp also gave a chance to the players for understanding each others culture ., language, food habits etc made them the sports ambassador for each region.
The Sqay Federation of India has decided to conduct National Snow Sqay championship as an official event in year 2023 .
The training camp was organized by J&K Sqay Association under the Aegis of Sqay Federation of India.
