SRINAGAR: A farewell ceremony was organized today on 31st of January, 2022 in honour of Registrar SKAUST-K, Prof Gul Zaffar and Associate Directoe extension, Prof Sheikh Muzaffar. Director Extension Prof. Dil Mohammad Makhdoomi, Associate Directors, Teaching and Non-teaching staff of Directorate were present on the occasion. Hon’ble Vice-Chancellor SKAUST-Jammu sent his good wishes to Prof Gul Zaffar and in his message expressed his pleasureto have worked with Prof Gul Zaffar as Registrar SKAUST-K. Prof Sharma While praising Gul Zaffer as an honest person described him as a positive & straight forward personality. In his address, Prof. Dil Mohammad Makhdoomi highlighted the contribution of Prof Gul Zaffar and Prof Sheikh Muzaffar. He described them as most humble, honest and scientists of repute. Prof Gul zaffar in his speech described Prof J. P Sharma and Hon’ble Vice chancellor SKAUST-K Prof Nazir Ahmad Ganai as renowned academicians and able administrators who are contributing a lot to the welfare and progress of the university. Prof Gul Zaffar and Prof Sheikh Muzaffar thanked the scientists and non-teaching staff for being a part of their professional journey. On this occasion tributes were also paid to Mr. Arif Quadri and Mr. Mohd Sultan who proceeded to retirement on attaining super annuation.
