” The Batamaloo bus stand has been shifted to the Parimpora with this aim, the government is going to construct a Mini secretariat in the Batamaloo bus stand. But no mini secretariat has been constructed in that place,as the whole area is desolate now” He said.

The trade was also providing a source of employment to the local people as well as other people who were working in the shops in the batamaloo market.
“After the shifting of the bus stand to the Parimpora area, this source of employment has decreased and traders have been worst affected in the area and its surroundings,” he said.
” From last one month now the traffic police department is not allowing the Sumo and Travera services to be allowed towards the Batamaloo, due to which our business has got further hit and sales have declined in the markets,” he added.
He further said that we are demanding the district administration Srinagar and traffic police department city Srinagar city to allow the sumo cabs to enter the city. So, our business activity will remain balanced in the city.
protesting traders have also requested the Divisional Commissioner Kashmir, Deputy Commissioner Srinagar and SSP Traffic police department Srinagar city to look into matter and allow cab services to enter towards Srinagar city.
