Agriculture Dept employees condole demise of former Dir Handoo

Srinagar: The employees of the Agriculture Department Kashmir today expressed grief over the demise of Dr. Mohammad Iqbal Handoo former Director Agriculture Kashmir.
Dr. Handoo died at his Narwara Eidgah residence in Srinagar on Tuesday. A condolence meeting of the Department was held in the Directorate of Agriculture Lalmandi, Srinagar in which all the officers and officials of the Directorate participated. They prayed for the eternal peace to the retired officer. The Agriculture Department employees also expressed solidarity with the bereaved family.
During the condolence meeting Director Agriculture Kashmir Chowdhary Mohammad Iqbal paid rich tributes to Dr. Mohammad Iqabal Handoo and said that the contribution of Handoo Sahib for the development of agriculture sector and upliftment of farming community of Kashmir Division will be remembered for many years to come. He extended his sympathies with the bereaved family, prayed for granting eternal peace to the departed soul and courage to bereaved once to bear this loss.
Sheikh Shahid Iqbal Joint Director Agriculture Extension, Farooq Ahmad Bhat Joint Director Agriculture Inputs, Dr. Syed Waseem Ahmad Shah Joint Director Agriculture Farms, Mohammad Syeed Peer Joint Director Apiculture and Mushrooms and Mohammad Qasim Gani Joint Director Agriculture Marketing are among others who condoled the demise of Dr. Mohammad Iqbal Handoo and expressed their solidarity with the bereaved family.
