3 cowsheds gutted in fire at Ladhoo Pampore

PAMPORE: Three cowsheds were gutted in a fire that broke out at Ladhoo village of Pampore in south Kashmir’s Pulwama district on late Tuesday evening.
Eyewitness told Kashmir Reader that soon after the incident Police Khrew, Fire and Emergency department rushed to the spot and doused the flames.
Locals along with Army personnel from Shar Shali also took part in the fire fighting operation. After hectic efforts, the fire was brought under control.
The timely action by locals helped in saving the cattle inside housed in these, a local Javaid Ahmad told Kashmir Reader.
SDPO Pampore Mir Imtiyaz Ahmad told Kashmir Reader that the incident took place on Tuesday evening with fire engulfing a cowshed that belonged to Mohammad Jabar Mir at Herpora Ladhoo area of Pampore which soon spread to another two cowsheds belonged to Gulzar Ahmad Mir and Manzoor Ahmad Mir.
He told Kashmir Reader that firefighters from fire and emergency services Khrew and Pampore immediately and police led by SHO Khrew Manzoor Ahmad arrived on the spot and controlled it from spreading to the adjoining houses.
Meanwhile, Tehsildar Pampore Ishtiyaq Mohi-ud-Din along with Naib Tehsildar Khrew Bashir Ahmad and other Revenue team on Wednesday visited the spot and inspected the site
