Srinagar: Deputy Director, Directorate of Health Services Kashmir, Dr Bashir Ahmed Chalkoo on Wednesday in presence of senior health officials felicitated doctors and paramedical staff of Batamaloo Zone for their commendable contributions during the Covid-19 pandemic.
They were felicitated at an impressive function held at Zone Batamaloo, where Chief Medical Officer (CMO) Srinagar, DHO Srinagar, spokesperson DHSK Dr Mir Mushtaq, Zonal Medical Officer (ZMO) Batamaloo besides other concerned officials were present who hailed the health care workers for their tireless work during the pandemic.
The message of appreciation from the worthy Director DHSK, Dr Mushtaq Ahmad Rather was also communicated to the participants and the awardees at the event.
The director’s message included that the fight against Covid was almost impossible without the work of health workers while the support of allied departments was paramount.
The facilitators were encouraged to continue their work for the welfare of the people and others were also requested to hone their missionary zeal in the discharge of their duties.
They were told that the whole gamut of the fraternity has catapult itself in facing the challenge laying ahead of us in view of the dynamic global issues on health fronts.
