Director, RDD Kashmir reviews status of flagship rural development schemes

SRINAGAR: Director, Rural Development (RDD) Kashmir, Tariq Ahmad Zargar Friday chaired a meeting through Video Conferencing to review the implementation progress of RDD schemes in Kashmir Division.
ACDs, ACPs and DPOs besides Executive Engineers (REW) and other officers were present in the meeting.
Status of flagship programmes including MGNREGA, PMAY-G and 14th FCA besides progress of works under the Capex Budget 2021-22 (CD &Pyt Sector), construction, renovation of Panchayat Ghars under RGSA and other issues were reviewed in detail.
Director, RDD Kashmir appreciated the Officers for achieving and sustaining 100% target in respect of persondays generated under MGNREGA in the Division. Against the target of 92.39 Lakh persondays set for ending December 2021, 98.77 Lakh (107%) persondays have already been generated till date across 10 districts of Kashmir Division.
