REASI: Taking into account the recent surge in number of Covid cases in District Reasi, the District Administration, on the direction of Deputy Commissioner Charandeep Singh, has decided to conduct & continue intensive testing of the high risk & vulnerable groups including shopkeepers, Hoteliers, etc in the district.
The DC, as the Chairman District Disaster Management Authority, has issued a detailed order envisaging testing the plan for all such groups.
The DC emphasised that the move has been taken due to increasing number of Covid cases being reported from different areas of the district.
The health department has been asked to conduct random testing and contact tracing.
The employers, universities, hotels and worship places have been asked to inquire from visitors about their recent travel and be allowed only on producing COVID-19 negative test report.
The enforcement agencies have been asked to strictly implement Covid SOPs, including wearing of face masks, maintaining social distance and maintaining sanitation and hygiene in the Business establishments.
