Srinagar: As a part of a public outreach programme, Police in Pulwama facilitated two police-public interaction meetings (PCPG). The meetings were held while following social distancing norms and other protocols. In PS Litter, the meeting was chaired by DySP Hqrs Shri Nisar Ahmad-JKPS accompanied by SHO PS Litter and attended by respectable citizens of Nikloora area of Litter. Meanwhile, the meeting at PS Rajpora was chaired by SHO PS Rajpora in which respectable citizens from Rajpora Town participated.
During the interaction meetings, participants raised various issues. The chairing officers assured the participants that the issues pertaining to the Police department will be redressed on priority basis and the grievances pertaining to civil departments would be taken up with the concerned authorities for immediate redressal. Besides, chairing officers also assured that Police will provide its legal support as and when required for the betterment of the society.
The participants appreciated the efforts of Police in facilitating such community interaction meets where participants express their opinion freely and assured their full cooperation to Police in tackling social evils etc.
