Premier Football League: Ali Jana FC, J&K Bank win their matches

SRINAGAR: Ali Jana FC in a see-saw battle beat J&K Forest XI by 3-1 goals in the Premier Division’s league match of Premier Football League played at TRC ground here on Saturday.
Ali Jana FC XI dominated the show against the Senior Football Club J&K Forest XI as they had maximum ball possession and made several moves but their attempts were foiled by Goalkeeper of J&K Forest XI. Both the team got several chances to score but wasted all those and the first half ended with 0-0 draw.
In the second half both teams played aggressive football and made many moves to score and it was J&K Forest XI team to open their account in 60th minute.
After some time Ali Jana FC gathered momentum and made several moves at the goal and Kojo Obeng of Ali Jana FC levelled the score in 86th Minute.
In the dying minutes Adil consolidate the lead for Ali Jana FC in 88th Minute. Trailing by a goal, the J&K Forest players launched several counter attacks on the opposite goalpost. But the defenders of the Ali Jana FC kept them at bay.
In the closing moments of the game Ali Jana FC scored third goal. In the last 10 minutes of the match, the aggression of players from both the teams was visible as they tried desperately to score. However, as the referee blew the final whistle, the score line read 3-1 in favour of Ali Jana FC
Adil of Ali Jana FC was declared man of the match.
The second match of the day was played J&K Bank XI & Food & Supplies XI. J&K Bank thrashed Food & Supplies by5-0.
J&K Bank dominated the field right from the start scored three goals in the first half. In the second half J&K Bank scored two more goals and defeated F&S XI by 5:0 goals. Akib scored three goals and Adnan and Waris scored one goal each for J&K Bank XI.
