SRINAGAR: Downtown Heroes FC have cruised into the finals of GVEI Invitational Football Cup by defeating Ali Jana FC by a solitary goal in the first semi-final match played at Green Valley Educational Institute here on Sunday.
The match turned out as a closely fought contest with both sides refusing other side to dominate.
Both team made several moves from both the flanks and made several moves to score and it was Downtown Heros FC which managed to break the strong defence of Ali Jana FC to score deciding goal in the last minutes of the match.
