Awantipora: Department of Food Technology, IUST Thursday hosted Campus Placement Drive in collaboration with FIL Industries PVT. Ltd SIDCO Electronics complex Rangreth for the position of Trainee Chemist, Chemist and Microbiologist.
Large number of students having Masters’ and Bachelors’ degree in Food Technology participated in the said drive during which 07 students have been shortlisted. Senior Manager Human Resources, Peerzada Arshad and Senior Quality Manager, Sarfaraz from FIL industries were part of the placement drive. I/C Training and Placement Department of Food Technology Dr. Aamir Hussain Dar welcomed the officials of the FIL Industries for organizing the campus placement drive.
Dean Research and HOD Food Technology during the threadbare discussion with the Placement team emphasized for creating more Industry-Academia linkages in order to provide best available Human Resource to the Industry. He further thanked the Management of FIL industries for selecting Department of Food Technology IUST for the placement drive.
