UDHAMPUR: An awareness camp regarding Plea :Bargaining (Access to Justice phase-II) was today organised by District Legal Services Authority Udhampur here in the District Jail.
Rajni Sharma (Sub-Judge) Secretary District Legal Services Authority Udhampur visited District Jail Udhampur along with Resource Persons, Balwan Singh and Mallikarjun Singh Slathia (Advocates).
The objective of organising the awareness camp was to inform the Jail inmates about the concept of Plea Bargaining. The Resource Persons interacted with the Prisoners and informed them about Plea Bargaining provisions provided by the criminal Procedure Code. Secretary DLSA Udhampur later thanked the resource persons and Jail Superintendent for making this awareness Camp a success.
SOPs of Covid-19 were followed while organizing the awareness camp.
