Apni Student Union organises Blood Donation at Children hospital

SRINAGAR, Apni Student Union Kashmir Province on Wednesday organized a blood donation camp in coordination with the medical staff of GB Panth Hospital where various students donated their blood.
The camp was organized under the leadership of Apni Student Provincial President Kashmir Ibrahim Javaid Shah along with other student activists including Nafia, Zaffar Hussain, Zurain, Hafsa and Hafiz.
In a statement issued here, Ibrahim said that hospitals in Kashmir division have always faced a dire shortage of blood and this initiative taken by Apni Student Wing will bolster the essential practice of donating blood.
“We always see that SOS calls and messages are flaunted on social media wherein calls for certain blood groups are made to the general public. Those distress calls can be addressed swiftly if every healthy person starts donating blood in their respective area,” he said.
On the occasion, the members of Apni Student Union pledged to organize similar programs in the future and voice the pressing concerns of the students in Kashmir province.
