Leopard caught in Handwara village

Baramulla: A leopard was caught alive by a team of wildlife offices in Handwara area of north Kashmir’s district Kupwara on Friday.
Officials in the wildlife department said that they received information that a leopard has taken shelter in a government school building in Vilgam Handwara, following the complaint a team of officials reached the spot and tranquilized the animal. The leopard was later shifted to north Kashmir office Sopore, from where they will release him in any safe place.
