Opening ceremony of KPL 2021 held at DPS Srinagar

Srinagar: The second phase of Swarnim Vijay Varsh Kashmir Premier League 2021 kick started at DPS, Srinagar on Wednesday.
The inaugural ceremony was attended by esteemed civil and military dignitaries and the tournament was organized under the aegis of Chinar Corps.
In a statement, spokesperson said that Phase 1 (pre-qualifiers) of KPL 2021 commenced on July 01 in 10 districts of Kashmir, in which nearly 200 teams participated with much enthusiasm and energy.
Speaking at the inaugural ceremony Cdr Chinar AD Bde, explaining the ethos of KPL 2021 and the endeavor of grassroot connect and integration of talented youth through the medium of cricket.
The inaugural match between Srinagar Suleimans and Bandipora Climbers.The match was won by Bandipora Climbers by 6 wickets and Malik Zameer was adjudged Man of the Match for scoring 52 runs of 22 balls.
“He was awarded a cheque of Rs 3000 for his outstanding performance.
