UDHAMPUR: Deputy Commissioner Udhampur, Indu Knawal Chib has hailed the team of District Hospital for bagging the J&K UT Kayakalp -2020-21, the result of which was declared the other day.
The award is given to the institutions on the basis of a set of defined criteria under three sub categories– the first being the Best District Hospital. The 1st ranked district hospital receives a cash award of Rs. 5.00 lakh.
The performance of the hospitals is assessed on various parameters like Hospital Upkeep, Sanitation and hygiene, Waste Management, Infection control, Support Services and Hygiene Promotion and outside boundary wall. District Hospital Udhampur has bagged the award for the second time.
Deputy Commissioner, Indu Kanwal Chib, while congratulating the District Hospital team, hailed the excellent work done by Medical Superintendent DH, Chief Medical Officer and Community Health Centre Chenani and Ramnagar along with 4 Primary Health Centres for bagging recommendations for financial awards. “It’s a wonderful achievement and let’s resolve to work together to provide the best health services to the district in future as well,” she said.
Dr Vijay Raina, Medical Superintendent, DH Udhampur also thanked his team and district administration for supporting them as and when required. “This was not possible without their support. So big congratulations to the entire team of medical staff from top to bottom for its efforts made under the supervision of the Deputy Commissioner “, he said.
