PAMPORE: Chief Education Officer (CEO) Pulwama Abdul Hai Rafique visited various Seasonal Educational centers/ locally called BAHAK Centers of Lurgam and Tral zone.
The TLE and TLM was distributed among the seasonal/ BAHAK centers of the zone to facilitate the effective teaching learning process. Further the officers took stock of the community teaching going on at various places and stressed the teachers to reach out to all the children who in one way or the other are lagging behind in this critical Covid 19 situation, especially the nomadic people living in Bahaks and far flung areas of this zone.
The Chief Education Officer interacted with education volunteers EVs who impart education to the children of nomadic families living in Behak areas of zone Lurgam viz Naagberan, officials of the Education department told Kashmir.
The teachers were directed to provide moral education to these children besides the formal education of their respective classes. The hard and sincere efforts of Chief Education Officer and District Education Planning Officer Pulwama was applauded by the teachers and the general public thanking them for their visit.
The CEO was flanked by DEPO Pulwama Manzoor Ahmed Khan and ZEO Lurgam.
The officers said that they were satisfied with the officials working in the BAHAK Centres and the cooperation of the people in this regard was felt appreciable to get a success in reaching out the unreachable lot in far flung areas of the zone having remote and hilly landscape where people live a very hard, difficult and miserable life
