Traffic police issues diversion plan on several city routes from today

SRINAGAR: The JK Traffic Police has issued an advisory for commuters for different routes asking them to comply with the new Traffic Diversion Plan from today up to Wednesday.
According to the new plan the traffic coming from Sonwar Panthachowk axis will be diverted towards Radio Kashmir crossing.No vehicle will be allowed towards Durganag and Gupkar. No reverse traffic will be allowed from Radio Kashmir crossing towards GoleChakriSonwar.
Also traffic on M.A. Road from C.T.O Office towards Dalgate will be diverted towards IkhwanChowk at Sangarmal Crossing and traffic coming from TRC towards Dalgate will not be allowed to move beyond C.D Hospital.
While the traffic at Mamta Crossing Konkhan shall move towards CD Hospital crossing. No reverse traffic will be allowed on this route. No right movement of traffic towards Baba Daramdass Mandir will be allowed at Mamta Crossing
The advisory added that the Traffic coming from Foreshore Road Nishat axis will not be allowed to move beyond Nishat crossing a sking the residents of Kralsangri and BrienNishat to use internal roads towardsNishat.
It has asked the motorists from Habak crossing can take Lalbazar axisEllahi-Bagh or SaidaKadalRainawari axis to reach Lal chowk while traffic from Boulevard-Nehru Park area can leave the area via BadyariChowkDalgate. No reverse movements will be allowed
Also the traffic coming from M.A Road towards Sonwar can move via Baba Daram Dass, mamta crossing or can U-Turn near Sangarmal towards residence road and TRC crossing and via DurgaNaag.
