JAMMU KASHMIR PREMIER LEAGUE

SRINAGAR : Team Hooked ,Nunnu Stars won their matches of the ongoing Jammu Kashmir Premier league t-20 cricket tournament played at Green Valley Educational Institute here on SAturday.
The first match today was played between Team Hooked Vs Shape Up Fitness Cricket Club. Shape Up Fitness Cricket Club won the toss and opted to bat first and posted a total of 164 runs in alloted 20 overs. Gowhar Rashid (66 of 32 balls), Bilal (34 of 25 balls) were among the top scorers for Shape Up Fitness Cricket Club. For Team Hooked Tajamul,Riyaz,Touseef claimed a wicket each. In reply Team Hooked scored the target in 16th over. For Team Hooked Waseem Raza scored 69 of 28 balls and Tajamul Baba 38 of 30 balls were among highest run getters. For Shape Up Fitness Cricket Club Rameez Raja claimed two wickets. Waseem Raza for his outstanding bowling performance was adjudged as Man of the Match.
The second game was played between Mayid Rayan Warriors and Nunnu Stars. Mayid Rayan Warriors won the toss and elected to bat first. They managed to put a total of 145 runs only. Yawar Bashir (43 of 33 balls) was among top run scorers for his team. For Nunnu Stars Irshad, Rouf Mir, Jamsheed bagged took two wickets each. In reply Nunnu Stars chased the target in 18th over. Adil Sofi (65 of 48 balls) was the highest run scorer for his team.
Imtiyaz claimed two wickets for his team Mayid Rayan Warriors. Adil Sofi for his outstanding batting performance was given Man of the Match
