BARAMULLA: Police on Monday said that they arrested two drug peddlers in Sheeri and Kreeri areas of Baramulla district.
Police said that under the supervision of Syed Sajjad Bukhari DSP headquarters Baramulla assisted by inspector Waseem Jahangir SHO Sheeri arrest a drug peddler Arshid Ahmad Mangral son of Mohammad Mukhtar Mangral resident of Salamabad Uri near petrol pump Sheeri and recovered 6 grams of Brown Sugar like substance from his possession.
Similarly, under the supervision of Tariq Mehmood SDPO Kreeri assisted by sub inspector Ghulam Jeelani SHO Kreeri arrest a drug peddler Zahoor Ahmad Lone son Gulam Mohammad Lone of Behrampora and recovered 1Kg and 700 grams of poppy straw like substance from his possession. Police register separate cases against the both and further investigation is on.
