BARAMULLA: A man was attacked and injured by a black bear in Warnow village of Lolab in north Kashmir’s Kupwara district on Thursday.
Official sources said that Gulab Ahmad Aawaan son of Bugoo Mohammad Aawaan of Warnow Lolab was outside of his house when he was attacked by a black bear.
The family members and other people reached the spot and chased away the beast, the injured was later shifted to sub district hospital Sogam for treatment. The hospital sources said that man was received multiple injuries at his face, head and other parts of body and is under treatment.
