Kupwara: Two people including an infant and an elderly person were killed, while seven other people injured in a road accident in north Kashmir’s Kupwara district on Thursday.
Officials said that a Tata Sumo bearing registration number JK05B-8799 met with an accident in Jabdi area of district, resulting two people including an eight month old baby and an elderly person were killed on spot while seven other people received injuries who were later shifted to hospital for treatment.
The deceased were identified as Afan Ahmad, and Sadar Ali Shah, 90 residents of Jabdi Kupwara. The injured were shifted to hospital for treatment. Meanwhile, police register a case and investigation is going on.
