SRINAGAR: The authorities in Budgam have directed the brick kilns owners to carry Covid -19 vaccination of the labourers who are working in the brick kilns across the district within four days.
As per official order issued by the Deputy commissioner Budgam said that it has been reported that owners of the brick kilns are not taking interest in COVID vaccination of the labourers working in the brick kilns and as such putting to risk the lives of these labourers.
“Therefore, it is enjoyed upon the owners of these brick kilns in the jurisdiction of district Budgam to take necessary steps for vaccination of these labourers, ” the order said.
It said that they shall contact Chief Medical officer Budgam and Block Medical officers for vaccination of the brick kilns labourers within a 4 days time period.
“Any violation of this order shall attract penal action under Disaster Management Act 2005,” order said.
