Baramulla: A motorcyclist dies after a branch of a giant tree falls on him near Pattan on Srinagar Baramulla highway Saturday evening.
The motorcyclist identified as Manzoor Ahmad a resident of Krepalpora Pattan who was an SPO in Jammu and Kashmir police came under the branch of a giant Chinar tree at Pattan Saturday evening resulting he received serious head injuries, the local people rescued and shift the injured to to nearby hospital, however he succumbed on way.
Meanwhile, Pattan police registered a case and investigation has been started in this regard.
