JKHCBA express concern over increase in suicides in Kashmir

SRINAGAR: Jammu and Kashmir High Court Bar Association (JKHBA) Srinagar is deeply concerned about the increase in sucide by civilians in Kashmir valley. In a statement issued here it said that in last four days two suicide deaths took place and three suicide attempts were foiled .
The obvious cause of suicide attempts is financial stress in the families .Medical and psychiatric experts believe that the main cause of suicide deaths and suicide attempts is constant financial stress in the families and least physical movement and advise the people to be more interractive with the near and dear ones to overpower the mental stress increased due to covid and financial distress .
JKHCBA appeals to the people in general and charity institutions to take care of the distressed families in and around you in the respective localities .
