BJP committed for peace, development in Kashmir: Ashok Koul

Srinagar: Bharatiya Janata Party General Secretary, Ashok Koul on Sunday said that their party is committed to the development in Kashmir and over the past seven years of central government BJP has reached every home in the country.
Addressing a gathering after listening to ‘ Mann Ki Baat’ at Bootapatri Gulmarg to mark the seven years of the BJP government at the Centre, he said that BJP is committed for overall development of Kashmir valley.
“We are committed to peace and development and will have zero tolerance against the corruption in Jammu and Kashmir and will set an example of good governance,” Koul said.
He said the seven years of Modi government have set examples as drinking water, electricity and good governance reached to our homes.
“400 kits of ration, sanitizers, masks were distributed among the nomadic families at Bootapatri, Nagin 1 and Nagin 2 in Gulmarg area and a medical camp was also organised for them to carry out free health checkups and Covid19 tests,” Koul said.
The event was organised by District Kupwara Prabhari, Anwar Khan in which ration was distributed among the ST, nomad families
Koul also distributed the ration kits among the families in Srinagar parts and stated that party leadership is committed for overall development.
Party’s State Vice President Sofi Yousuf said previous government regimes failed to provide a platform to Kashmiri youth and due to which they were alienated from the mainstream.
Party Kashmir Media Incharge Manzoor Bhat said State President, Minority Morcha , Sheikh Bashir also donated the blood to save the precious lives.
Also BJP spokesperson Altaf Thakur and president youth wing Pulwama Sajad Raina distributed masks, sanitizers,food kits and medicines at Galander area of Pampore and Tral area.
JK BJP spokesperson Altaf Thakur said the items were distributed on completion of seven years of Bhartiya Janta Party government and is a part of Sab Ka Saath Sab Ka Vishwas.
He hoped that they would win the war against COVID-19.
General Secretary, Yuva Morcha, Bilal Paray also conducted several programmes in central Kashmir’s Ganderbal district and stated that party.
District presidents of other districts of Valley including Ashok Bhat, Aga Syed Mohsin, Gulam Hassan Rather, Adv Wajhat Hussain, Abid Hussain, Mir Mushtaq, Sajad Rania, Mohammad Younis, Mir Mohammad Shafi and Rehman Tikri Conducted programs in their respective areas.
