Calls for early release of all prisoners detained illegally after Aug 2019

SRINAGAR: J&K High Court Bar Association has welcomed the release of Advocate Zahid Ali Lone spokesman Jamaat e Islami from illegal detention after a period of more than two years.
The spokesperson of JKHCBA G N Shaheen welcomed release of Zahid Ali the association reteriated its appeal for review and release of Kashmiri prisoners who were after 5th August 2019 booked either in fake FIRs or detained under PSA to justify the illegal detentions to silence the people.Bar Association also appeal the courts to deal the the liberty matters on fast track basis with priority and for disposal under law as in liberty matters the courts have to proceed on fast track basis as per Supreme Court guidelines but in JK courts are not observing these guidelines consequently liberty has become a casualty.
