BARAMULLA: Government forces including Army and Jammu and Kashmir police on Wednesday defused a rusted shell in Kunzar area of Tangmarg in north Kashmir’s Baramulla district.
Official sources said that some people in Utikoo village of Kunzar Tangmarg spotted a shell alongside a stream and took the information to Kunzar police station.
Later a team of police along with an army’s 2RR rushed to the spot and defused the shell successfully.
A case under relevant sections of law has been registered in Kunzar police station and investigation is on.
