Baramulla: The authorities on Sunday sealed a famous hotel cum restaurant in north Kashmir’s Kupwara town after it was found to be violating the lockdown issued by the government in the present situation.
Officials said that they had received several complaints that hotel Raj-Palace is doing their business regularly and its management did not follow the guidelines/instructions and SOP’s already issued by the district administration and government.
They said on Sunday afternoon a team of officials of the district administration along with a team of police raided the hotel and found that the hotel was completely open for their customers from the rear side.
The officials said that the hotel was sealed under the supervision of a magistrate and an enquiry has been also started against its management.
