9 shops sealed in Pampore

PAMPORE: Tehsil administration Pampore sealed 09 shops in Saffron town Pampore area of South Kashmir’s Pulwama district for violating the coronavirus lockdown orders, officials said on Sunday.
On the direction of district administration Pulwama, a team of revenue officials of Pampore led by Naib Tehsildar Pampore Mohammad Ameen Najar conducted a surprise inspection in the Saffron town.
During the inspection, a team sealed nine shops for violation of lockdown norms. The violators were warned of stern action for non compliance of the government guidelines regarding Covid control measures.
Naib Tehsildar Pampore Mohammad Ameen Najar told Kashmir Reader that they were receiving information that some shops were violating lockdown orders by keeping their shops open in view of COVID-19 restrictions in the Pampore area.
Nine shops were sealed by revenue department Pampore.
These shops were sealed in the Pampore and Paralbagh area.
He appealed people to follow lockdown orders and observe social distancing with use of face masks.
