Baramulla: Government forces in frontier district Kupwara claimed to have arrested an over ground worker (OGW) and recovered large quantities of arms and ammunition from his possession.
They said that following a specific information, army and police arrested an individual Abdul Ahad Lone a resident of Kralpora and recovered a large quantity of arms including 10 hand grenades and 182 bullets from his possession. Lone, according to police, was associated with Al-Badr outfit in the past but was not active from the past some time.
The police registered a case and further investigation is on.
