Lockdown helped to flatten Covid curve in Pampore: DC Pulwama

PAMPORE: Deputy Commissioner Pulwama, Baseer ul Haq Chaudhary visited saffron town Pampore to take stock of lockdown restrictions in the area.
The Deputy Commissioner Pulwama was accompanied by SP Awantipora Mohammad Yousuf and other police officials.
The officers held discussions with SDPO Pampore Mir Imtiyaz Ahmad, SHO Pampore Mohammad Younis Khan and revenue officials with regard to restrictions in Saffron town Pampore.
The Deputy Commissioner Pulwama Baseer-Ul-Haq Choudhary was satisfied with the arrangements and appreciated People of Awantipora police district for cooperating with authorities by following lockdown norms.
Talking to Kashmir Reader, Deputy Commissioner Pulwama, Baseer ul Haq Chaudhry told that efforts of common people and authorities have resulted in flattening the curve of Corona Virus in the area.
“People in Awantipora police district cooperated with authorities and helped us in observing the lockdown, we succeeded in containing the spread of infection to some extent, the infection rate has been brought down,” he said, appealing people to stay indoors.
He also appreciated police and revenue officials for working tirelessly for imposing the lockdown.
The Deputy Commissioner Pulwama Baseer-Ul-Haq Choudhary paid EID greetings to the people and appealed them to stay indoors.
” We are in the field doing our job and our work will show results when you follow SOP’s and stay at home,” he said, adding that violation of lockdown will spoil the good work already done.
